What is CVE-2026-18064?

A coding oversight in the NASA Core Flight System Health and Safety application allows for a NULL pointer dereference, following an incomplete resolution to a previous vulnerability. This deficiency makes it possible for an attacker to exploit certain commands under specific conditions, potentially leading to a crash of the Health and Safety application, resulting in a denial-of-service situation and a processor reset. Affected versions include those up to 7.0.1.
