What is CVE-2026-18378?

A vulnerability exists in the Koku Metrics Operator that permits users to manipulate the CostManagementMetricsConfig custom resource to specify an arbitrary upload URL. When the authentication type is set to token — the default configuration — the globally scoped Red Hat Cloud pull-secret bearer token is transmitted with HTTP requests to the user-defined URL. This flaw can lead to the unauthorized disclosure of sensitive tokens, enabling potential attackers to exploit this information for malicious activities.
