What is CVE-2026-18393?

A heap buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the tdsc_load_cursor() function of FFmpeg, which can allow remote attackers to exploit this flaw by sending specially crafted cursor data within video files. If successfully executed, this may result in a denial of service or the potential for arbitrary code execution, posing significant risks to systems using affected versions of FFmpeg.
