What is CVE-2026-1868?

GitLab has addressed a significant vulnerability within the Duo Workflow Service component of the GitLab AI Gateway. This affects all versions from 18.1.6 to 18.8.0, where the AI Gateway faces risks associated with insecure template expansion of user-supplied data through manipulated Duo Agent Platform Flow definitions. This issue could potentially lead to Denial of Service or unauthorized code execution on the Gateway. Remedial actions have been implemented in versions 18.6.2, 18.7.1, and 18.8.1.
