What is CVE-2026-1879?

An unrestricted upload vulnerability has been identified in the Theme Customization component of Harvard University's IQSS Dataverse, specifically in the file /ThemeAndWidgets.xhtml. This flaw allows remote attackers to exploit the uploadLogo argument to perform unauthorized file uploads. The issue was disclosed publicly, increasing the risk of exploitation.
