What is CVE-2026-18857?

IBM OPENBMC firmware versions FW1120.00 to FW1120.01, FW1110.00 to FW1110.31, and FW1060.00 to FW1060.81 are exposed to a vulnerability within the BMC firmware management interface. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to crash the BMC firmware management service or potentially read a limited portion of the internal BMC memory.
