Privilege Escalation in odh-dashboard by Red Hat
CVE-2026-18949

8.8HIGH

What is CVE-2026-18949?

A flaw exists in the odh-dashboard that can be exploited when an attacker gains control of a compromised Service Account (SA) token. This vulnerability results from excessively broad permissions assigned to the SA, allowing attackers to escalate their privileges to the level of cluster administrator. Through this exploitation, there is potential access to sensitive information, including credentials and encryption keys across the entire cluster, which poses a significant risk to multi-tenant isolation and data security.
