What is CVE-2026-20013?
A vulnerability exists in the IKEv2 feature of Cisco Secure Firewall ASA and FTD Software that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to induce a denial of service condition. This is caused by memory exhaustion resulting from improper handling of IKEv2 packets. An attacker can exploit this flaw by transmitting specially crafted IKEv2 packets, potentially exhausting the device's resources and necessitating a manual reboot to restore service. The issue poses risks not only to the affected devices but may also impact overall network availability.
