What is CVE-2026-20029?

A vulnerability in the licensing features of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Cisco ISE Passive Identity Connector (ISE-PIC) allows an attacker with administrative access to exploit improper XML parsing. By uploading a malicious file via the web-based management interface, an authenticated attacker can read arbitrary files from the operating system, potentially exposing sensitive data that should remain protected. This issue necessitates valid administrative credentials for an attack to be successful.
