What is CVE-2026-2004?

A vulnerability exists in the PostgreSQL intarray extension where the lack of proper input validation in the selectivity estimator function allows a malicious object creator to execute arbitrary code using the privileges of the operating system user running the database. This poses a significant security risk, especially for deployments running affected versions of PostgreSQL prior to the specified updates. Users are encouraged to upgrade their installations to mitigate this risk.
