What is CVE-2026-20050?
A vulnerability in the Do Not Decrypt exclusion feature of Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense Software can be exploited by an unauthenticated remote attacker. This security flaw arises from improper memory management during the inspection of TLS 1.2 encrypted traffic. By sending specifically crafted TLS 1.2 packets, an attacker can trigger a denial of service condition, leading to a reload of the affected device. Notably, this vulnerability solely impacts devices handling TLS 1.2 encrypted traffic, leaving other TLS versions unaffected.
