CVE-2026-20069
What is CVE-2026-20069?
A security flaw exists in the VPN web services component of Cisco Secure Firewall ASA and FTD Software due to inadequate validation of HTTP requests. This vulnerability could enable an unauthenticated remote attacker to carry out browser-based malicious activities by tricking users into visiting a specially designed malicious site that transmits harmful HTTP requests to affected devices. Such exploitation could facilitate cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks by allowing the attacker to manipulate the valid responses from the device to influence user browsers without directly impacting the device itself.
