What is CVE-2026-20097?

A vulnerability exists in the web-based management interface of Cisco IMC that allows authenticated, remote attackers with admin-level privileges to execute arbitrary code on the underlying operating system as the root user. The issue arises from inadequate validation of user-provided input to the management interface, enabling attackers to exploit this flaw by sending specially crafted HTTP requests to compromised devices.
