What is CVE-2026-20101?

The vulnerability in the SAML 2.0 single sign-on feature of Cisco Secure Firewall ASA and Secure FTD Software arises from inadequate error handling when processing SAML messages. This flaw could be exploited by unauthenticated remote attackers who send specially crafted SAML messages to the service. Successful exploitation may trigger a device reload, leading to an unexpected Denial of Service (DoS), impeding access to the systems reliant on these firewalls.
