What is CVE-2026-20126?

A vulnerability in the Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager allows an authenticated, local attacker with low privileges to exploit the REST API. Due to an insufficient user authentication mechanism, attackers can send crafted requests to the API, leading to unauthorized root access on the underlying operating system. This poses a significant risk as it allows for deeper system compromise and potential escalations of privileges.
