What is CVE-2026-20309?

A flaw in the web-based management interface of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) permits unauthenticated attackers to initiate reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. Due to inadequate validation of user-supplied input, an attacker could craft a malicious link that exploits this vulnerability. When a user of the management interface clicks this link, it could lead to the execution of arbitrary scripts in the context of the interface, potentially allowing the attacker to retrieve sensitive information stored in the user's browser.
