What is CVE-2026-20345?
A vulnerability exists in the GPT file format parser of ClamAV that allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to trigger a denial-of-service (DoS) condition through crafted GPT files. The issue stems from improper handling of endian conversion, which can lead to out-of-bounds buffer writes. Exploiting this vulnerability can cause the scanning process of ClamAV to terminate unexpectedly, disrupting the service on the affected device.
