What is CVE-2026-20346?

A vulnerability in the PDF file format parser of ClamAV enables attackers to exploit improper boundary checks, leading to potential memory corruption and Denial of Service (DoS) conditions. By submitting specially crafted PDF files during the scanning process, an unauthenticated remote attacker could terminate the ClamAV scanning service, disrupting the software's functionality on affected systems.
