What is CVE-2026-20613?
The ArchiveReader.extractContents() function in cctl image load and container image load is vulnerable to a path traversal attack due to the lack of pathname validation. This flaw permits an attacker to extract archive members to arbitrary locations on the filesystem by utilizing relative pathnames, potentially compromising system security. This issue is addressed in updates for the affected products.
