What is CVE-2026-2218?
A command injection vulnerability exists in D-Link DCS-933L firmware versions up to 1.14.11 due to improper handling of parameters in the '/setSystemAdmin' functionality of the alphapd component. This flaw allows an attacker to remotely execute arbitrary commands by manipulating the AdminID argument. As the affected products are no longer supported, the risk is increased as no patches will be provided to remediate this vulnerability. Exploitation is possible in environments where these devices are exposed to the internet.
