What is CVE-2026-22608?

Fickling, a Python pickling decompiler and static analyzer, prior to version 0.1.7, is susceptible to a Remote Code Execution vulnerability due to the lack of explicit blocking for both the ctypes and pydoc modules. Attackers can exploit this weakness by chaining these modules together, potentially allowing the execution of arbitrary code while still being flagged as LIKELY_SAFE by the scanner. This significant security issue has been addressed in version 0.1.7, and users are encouraged to update to this version to mitigate the risk.
