Denial of Service Vulnerability in C++11 HTTP/HTTPS Library by yhirose
CVE-2026-22776
8.7HIGH
What is CVE-2026-22776?
The cpp-httplib library, a single-file header-only library for C++11, is susceptible to a Denial of Service vulnerability due to improper handling of compressed HTTP request bodies. Prior to version 0.30.1, the library fails to restrict the size of decompressed data, allowing attackers to exploit this issue by sending specially crafted requests. This can lead to excessive memory consumption and service disruption, impacting the availability of affected applications.
