What is CVE-2026-22793?

The 5ire AI assistant, which is a cross-platform desktop application, contains a vulnerability in the ECharts Markdown plugin that permits unsafe option parsing. This flaw enables any user to submit ECharts code blocks, leading to the execution of arbitrary JavaScript code within the renderer context. In scenarios where privileged APIs, such as Electron’s mcp, are exposed, this can allow attackers to achieve Remote Code Execution (RCE), potentially resulting in the full compromise of the host system. This issue has been addressed in version 0.15.3.
