What is CVE-2026-22858?
A vulnerability exists in FreeRDP's Base64 decoding path that could result in a buffer overflow due to improper handling of character signedness on Arm/AArch64 architectures. Non-ASCII bytes can bypass the expected range check, leading to potential out-of-bounds access in a global lookup table. This flaw has been resolved in version 3.20.1.
