What is CVE-2026-22886?

OpenMQ incorporates a TCP-based management service that requires authentication but includes a default administrative account with credentials that are not enforced to be changed after the first use. This oversight allows a remote attacker to authenticate using the default credentials, thereby obtaining full control over the administrative features of the service. This vulnerability exposes systems to significant risks, particularly if the service remains active with unchanged default settings in a production environment.
