What is CVE-2026-23101?

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel impacts Lenovo ThinkPad T14s by allowing LEDs to be added to the list before proper initialization. This leads to a race condition where the LED's default trigger can invoke uninitialized operations, potentially resulting in system warnings and instability. The issue stems from the incorrect order of execution in the LED initialization process, which has been rectified by adjusting the timing of adding the LED to the list after the initialization routine is complete.
