What is CVE-2026-23264?

A vulnerability has been identified in the Linux kernel related to AMD GPUs. This issue arose from an erroneous reversion of a prior commit regarding Active State Power Management (ASPM) checks in the PCIe subsystem. The flawed implementation can lead to complex debugging challenges, particularly in systems containing dual AMD GPUs where only one supports ASPM, resulting in potential system crashes. The kernel has since rectified this issue to restore stability.
