What is CVE-2026-23615?

GFI MailEssentials AI versions prior to 22.4 contain a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Sender Policy Framework Email Exceptions interface. An authenticated user can exploit this vulnerability by injecting HTML or JavaScript code through the ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$pv4$txtEmailDescription parameter in the management interface. This malicious script is subsequently stored and executed when the interface is accessed, potentially leading to unauthorized actions under the context of the logged-in user.
