What is CVE-2026-23616?
GFI MailEssentials AI versions prior to 22.4 are susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability within the Anti-Spoofing configuration page. This flaw allows authenticated users to inject malicious HTML or JavaScript code into the system via the 'ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$AntiSpoofingGeneral1$TxtSmtpDesc' parameter. The injected script is subsequently stored and executed within the management interface, potentially compromising the security of the logged-in user.
