Stored Cross-Site Scripting in GFI MailEssentials AI
CVE-2026-23619
5.1MEDIUM
What is CVE-2026-23619?
GFI MailEssentials AI versions prior to 22.4 are vulnerable to a stored cross-site scripting issue that arises in the Local Domains settings page. This vulnerability allows an authenticated user to inject HTML or JavaScript code into the ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$Pv3$txtDescription parameter within the Mail Security management interface. When this input is stored and subsequently rendered, it permits the execution of scripts in the context of a logged-in user, potentially compromising sensitive user data and system integrity.
