What is CVE-2026-23732?

FreeRDP, an open-source implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol, has a vulnerability that allows a malicious server to exploit FastGlyph parsing. This flaw trusts input lengths without adequately validating their minimum size, leading to a client-side global buffer overflow. This exploitation can cause system crashes, resulting in a denial of service (DoS). The issue has been resolved in version 3.21.0 with the introduction of necessary input size checks.
