What is CVE-2026-23743?

An information disclosure vulnerability in Discourse was identified whereby permalinks directed users to access-restricted resources, inadvertently exposing sensitive information like private topic titles. This issue affected versions prior to 3.5.4, 2025.11.2, 2025.12.1, and 2026.1.0, allowing unauthorized users to view URLs that should have been inaccessible. The flaw was resolved in the mentioned versions, eliminating the potential for such data leaks.
