What is CVE-2026-23989?
The Reva interoperability platform from OpenCloud contains a vulnerability in the GRPC authorization middleware that allows malicious users to bypass scope verification associated with public links. This flaw can be exploited through the archiver service to create archives (zip or tar files) containing sensitive resources accessible to the creator of the public link. This issue affects Reva versions prior to 2.42.3 and 2.40.3, and the problem has been addressed in these subsequent releases.
