What is CVE-2026-24406?

The heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the iccDEV library occurs within the CIccTagNamedColor2::SetSize() function. This issue arises when unvalidated user input is improperly processed in ICC profile data or other binary structured blobs. Attackers may exploit this flaw to induce denial of service, manipulate application data, or execute arbitrary code. The vulnerability affects versions 2.3.1.1 and prior but has been addressed in version 2.3.1.2.
