What is CVE-2026-24769?

NocoDB, a platform designed for building databases as spreadsheets, faces a serious security flaw due to its attachment handling mechanism. Before version 0.301.0, this stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability allowed authenticated users to upload malicious SVG files embedded with JavaScript. When these SVG files are viewed by other users, the malicious script is executed in their browsers, which poses significant risks such as account compromise, data exfiltration, and the execution of unauthorized actions under the user's identity. The issue has been addressed and resolved in version 0.301.0.
