What is CVE-2026-24855?

ChurchCRM, an open-source church management system, contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting versions prior to 6.7.2. This vulnerability allows users with low privileges to insert malicious payloads in the Description field when creating events in the Church Calendar. These payloads are stored in the database and can be executed when other users, including administrators, view the event. This can potentially lead to serious consequences, including account takeover and unauthorized access to sensitive data. Users are advised to upgrade to version 6.7.2 to mitigate this issue.
