What is CVE-2026-2517?
A security flaw in Open5GS SMF has been identified, allowing remote attackers to exploit a weakness in the function ogs_gtp2_parse_tft within lib/gtp/v2/types.c. By manipulating the argument pf[0].content.length, an attacker may cause a denial of service, disrupting essential services. Despite early notification of the issue via an issue report, the Open5GS project has not provided a response, leaving users vulnerable to potential exploits, which have already been publicly released.
