What is CVE-2026-25491?

The Craft platform allows for the creation and management of digital experiences. A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists from versions 5.0.0-RC1 to 5.8.21 due to inadequate sanitization of entry type names when rendered in the Entry Types list. Attackers could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary scripts in the context of the user's session. This is particularly concerning as it can lead to unauthorized access and data manipulation. The issue has been resolved in version 5.8.22.
