What is CVE-2026-25993?

The EverShop eCommerce platform contains a vulnerability that allows second-order SQL injection due to improper handling of category update and deletion events. When path values derived from the database's url_key are concatenated into SQL statements and executed, attackers can exploit this by storing malicious strings in the url_key. As a result, during subsequent event processing, the SQL statement can be modified and executed, potentially compromising the database integrity. This issue has been addressed in version 2.1.1.
