A cross site scripting vulnerability exists in the Dify web application chat frontend due to improper handling of echarts inputs. When user or LLM inputs include a specific JavaScript payload, they may be executed in the context of the application, potentially allowing for unauthorized actions and data exposure. This vulnerability has been addressed in Dify version 1.13.0.
