What is CVE-2026-27149?

Discourse, an open-source discussion platform, has a vulnerability where SQL injection in the PM tag filtering system (list_private_messages_tag) could allow unauthorized users to bypass tag filter conditions. This could potentially lead to the exposure of sensitive private message metadata. Versions 2025.12.2, 2026.1.1, and 2026.2.0 have addressed this issue, and users are encouraged to upgrade to mitigate any associated risks. Currently, no known workarounds exist to secure the affected versions.
