CVE-2026-27162
What is CVE-2026-27162?
An access control vulnerability in the Discourse discussion platform allows unauthorized visibility of posts, including private whispers. Previous versions did not adequately validate user access before returning all posts. Users with insufficient permissions may inadvertently access sensitive information. The issue has been addressed in versions 2025.12.2, 2026.1.1, and 2026.2.0, with no available workarounds.
