What is CVE-2026-2745?
A security flaw in GitLab CE/EE could enable an unauthenticated user to bypass WebAuthn two-factor authentication. This vulnerability arises from inconsistent input validation during the authentication process, potentially leading to unauthorized access to user accounts. All versions from 7.11 prior to 18.8.7, 18.9 before 18.9.3, and 18.10 before 18.10.1 are affected. GitLab has released patches to remediate this issue and advised users to update to secure versions as soon as possible.
