What is CVE-2026-27489?

A path traversal vulnerability exists in Open Neural Network Exchange (ONNX) that allows attackers to exploit symlink functionality. This issue enables unauthorized access to arbitrary files outside of the designated model or user-specified directory. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 1.21.0, hence users are encouraged to upgrade to mitigate the risk of sensitive data exposure.
