Content-Type Confusion Vulnerability in Tenda F3 Wireless Router
CVE-2026-27512

5.1MEDIUM

What is CVE-2026-27512?

The Tenda F3 Wireless Router firmware version V12.01.01.55_multi is susceptible to a content-type confusion vulnerability that arises from the administrative interface. This issue occurs due to the omission of the crucial X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff header, leading to potential risks where attacker-influenced content may be reflected in the response body. When combined with certain browser behaviors, this vulnerability could facilitate MIME sniffing, permitting the response to be misinterpreted as executable HTML. Such exploitation might allow unauthorized script execution, posing significant risks to the router's administrative controls.
