What is CVE-2026-27952?

The Agenta LLMOps platform, specifically its API prior to version 0.48.1, is vulnerable to a Python sandbox escape due to improper handling of the numpy package within its RestrictedPython sandbox. This flaw allows authenticated users to execute arbitrary code on the API server by leveraging numpy.ma.core.inspect, which exposes crucial Python introspection utilities. This security hole could lead to significant risks, as it provides unfiltered access to system-level functionalities. The vulnerability has been addressed by excluding numpy from the sandbox allowlist in version 0.48.1, and subsequent versions have completely changed the execution model to enhance security.
