What is CVE-2026-28352?

Indico, an event management system utilizing Flask-Multipass for authentication, contains an access control vulnerability in its event series management API. In versions prior to 3.3.11, this API endpoint lacks proper access checks, enabling unauthorized individuals to obtain basic metadata of event series, including titles, categories, and dates. Although this vulnerability does not permit access to user-visible event data or allow for modifications beyond the metadata, it poses a risk by potentially enabling the deletion or alteration of existing event series. Users are advised to upgrade to version 3.3.11 to mitigate this issue or implement web server-level restrictions on access to the API endpoint.
