What is CVE-2026-28515?

The openDCIM application suffers from a missing authorization vulnerability that affects the install.php and container-install.php files. This flaw allows any authenticated user to access sensitive LDAP configuration functions without proper role checks, exposing the application to unauthorized modifications. If the REMOTE_USER variable is set without stringent authentication requirements, it can lead to the endpoint being reachable without valid credentials, further heightening the risk of configuration changes without oversight.
