What is CVE-2026-28688?
ImageMagick, a widely-used software for editing and manipulating digital images, has a vulnerability in its MSL encoder where a cloned image can be destroyed more than once, leading to potential exploitation. This issue arises before versions 7.1.2-16 and 6.9.13-41, where the MSL coder does not support writing MSL, resulting in removed write capabilities. Users are advised to update to the latest versions to mitigate this vulnerability.
