What is CVE-2026-29104?

SuiteCRM, an open-source Customer Relationship Management application developed by SalesAgility, has a vulnerability in the Configurator module. An authenticated administrator can exploit this flaw to upload files bypassing the intended restrictions, specifically when uploading PDF font files. This vulnerability poses a risk as it allows arbitrary files, controlled by the attacker, to be written to the server. Although the upload directory is not typically accessible via the web, the breach of file type restrictions can lead to significant security issues, particularly when exploited in conjunction with other vulnerabilities or in specific server configurations. Versions 7.15.1 and 8.9.3 address this concern.
